In the case of an incurable illness, the quality of life of patients in the final phase of life takes center stage. We support you with qualified professional and human assistance. This makes it possible to provide medical and nursing care that allows patients to live at home, even with the most severe illnesses.
In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (SAPV physicians, general practitioners and specialists, pastoral caregivers, hospice services, etc.), we work towards the goal of maintaining, promoting, and improving the quality of life and self-determination of terminally ill people with progressive diseases, enabling them to live a life in dignity until death in their own homes, in care homes, or in hospices.
We offer palliative care in Geesthacht and Schwerin, as well as the surrounding areas.

Scope of Services
As a SAPV (specialized outpatient palliative care) service, we work with the goal of maintaining, promoting, and improving the quality of life and self-determination of terminally ill patients with a progressive illness, enabling them to live a dignified life until death in their own homes. This includes:
- comprehensive support through cooperation in multidisciplinary teams of trained SAPV doctors, hospices, psychotherapists, chaplains, as well as pharmacies, medical supply stores, and many others
- Relief of accompanying symptoms such as shortness of breath, pain, and nausea
- preventive crisis management
- Development of a personalized treatment plan
- Coordination of support services
- 24-hour on-call duty for our SAPV nursing staff
- Counseling, guidance, and support for those affected and their families, including assistance in coping with issues related to dying and death.
